howstart.cc is a blog. You can read all of it without giving us anything at all – no account, no sign-up, no wall. Data only comes into it when you deliberately do something: write to us, subscribe to the newsletter, or change a setting the site then has to remember.

This page says what happens in each of those cases. The companion cookie policy lists every cookie by name.

Who is responsible

howstart.cc is run by JUSTAUTOMATE Sp. z o.o., which is the data controller for everything described here:

  • ul. Wspólna 70, 5th floor, 00-687 Warszawa, Poland
  • NIP 7011279914 · REGON 542850500 · KRS 0001197293

What we deliberately don't do

We don't use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or any third-party tracker. Nobody is building a profile of you across the web from this site, because there is nothing here to build it with.

Our visit statistics run on Umami on our own server (stats.justautomate.ai), not on a service that pays for itself with your data. It sets no cookies and doesn't store your IP address – it counts pages, not people. The same goes for our web fonts: they come from Bunny Fonts rather than Google Fonts, specifically because Bunny doesn't log visitor IP addresses.

Who else sees your data

Only where the job genuinely requires it:

  • Contact form – your message goes to our own mail handler on justautomate.ai and is recorded in our CRM, HubSpot. If our mail handler is unreachable, the message is relayed instead by formsubmit.co so it doesn't get lost.
  • Newsletter – handled by our own Listmonk installation (newsletter.justautomate.ai). Your address stays on our infrastructure; there is no mailing service in between.
  • Hosting – the site is served by OVH.
  • Discord – our community lives on Discord. Following that invitation means Discord's own terms and privacy policy apply there, not ours.

We never sell personal data. Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, that transfer is covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict what we do with it, hand it over in a portable format, or object to processing based on our legitimate interest. Where we rely on your consent – the newsletter – you can withdraw it at any time, and every newsletter has a one-click unsubscribe link for exactly that.

Write to contact@justautomate.ai and we'll answer within 30 days. If you think we've got it wrong, you can also complain to the Polish supervisory authority: Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa, uodo.gov.pl.

Changes to this page

If what we do with data changes, this page changes with it – and anything new that needs your consent will ask for it rather than appear quietly. Last updated: 1 August 2026.
